Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Red Beard Consulting LLC ("Red Beard," "we," "us") handles information in connection with Acorn, a private AI chief-of-staff product currently in pre-commercial development ("Acorn," the "Service").

Who this applies to. This policy covers (a) visitors to buyacorn.com and (b) users who connect a Google Account to a private Acorn instance.

1. Website Visitors

Information submitted through our waitlist form, contact form, or scheduling tools (name, email, and any message content) is used only to respond to inquiries, manage the waitlist, and communicate about Acorn. We do not sell this information or share it with third parties for advertising.

2. Google User Data

If you connect a Google Account to your Acorn instance, Acorn requests read-only access to your Google Calendar (calendar.readonly) so it can include your schedule in the briefings and answers it gives you.

  • What we access: event titles, times, locations, descriptions, and attendee lists on calendars you can already see in Google Calendar.
  • What we don't do: Acorn never creates, edits, or deletes calendar events. Acorn never reads any other Google data beyond the scope you explicitly grant.
  • Where it lives: Acorn runs on infrastructure you (the client) own and control. Calendar data and access credentials are processed on your own instance; Red Beard does not hold a copy of your Google credentials or a central database of your calendar data.
  • How it's used: solely to generate the briefings, schedule context, and answers Acorn gives you inside your own Slack workspace. It is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties, and it is never used to train models outside your own instance.
  • Retention: calendar data is held only as long as needed to serve the current briefing/query cycle on your instance; you control deletion by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time, which immediately stops all further access.
  • Google API Services User Data Policy: Acorn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Your Controls

You can revoke Acorn's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account's third-party access page. Revoking access stops all further calendar reads immediately.

4. Changes to This Policy

We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes affecting Google user data, notify connected users in-product before the change takes effect.

5. Contact
